AUBURN MOMS' CLUB IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF YOUR HELP !!  

The Auburn Moms' Club (AMC) is a non profit organization that was formed in 2008 by 3 Auburn Mom's who decided that we wanted to get involved and help our communities children. We have all visited and enjoyed the neighborhood parks that local towns and cities offer their children; like Manchester, Hampstead, Londonderry and Windham to name a few. When we talked to these towns we discovered that ALL of them built creative, fun and challenging parks for their kids and families to enjoy primarily through public and corporate donations. So with excitement and energy we started out on our own journey to bring this level of commitment and community pride to our town of Auburn!! This is a beautiful town with a great spirit!! We enjoy fall duck races, Massabesic fishing, boating and hiking and the scenic trails of The Audobon Society. The desire to offer our kids a local place to develop their physical and social skills while bringing together neighbors and families is critical to the overall health and well-being of a 'community'. It is in this vein that we ask for your help. Thus far many of you have delivered and for that we are grateful. Over the last year and a half with your support we have been able to raise funds to provide new playground equipment to Wayne R. Eddows Memorial Fields & Apple Tree Park.

Today we face a new challenge. We fully understand the economic environment that we live in today, not only in Auburn but in the larger world. There are no false pretenses to our charter to deliver and present the town with new playgrounds and developmental learning for our kids. However, we know the true pride of every resident of Auburn will be realized when we all commit to helping our town and our children in this generation and the next reap the benefits of our collective mission.

We have been working closely with the Parks & Recreation Department and in January the Circle of Fun Playground was closed do to unsafe conditions.  We are raising funds to help rebuild this park on Bunker Hill Road. The Circle of Fun Playground will be completely taken down prior to spring. We are asking for your help by offering  new ways to get involved, make a difference, and help your community. All proceeds from our upcoming Parent’s Night out on April 16th ( a big success last year and we heard your request to do this again ), Name a Brick Fundraiser ( buy a brick and put your family or business name on it so it lives on as an enduring tribute for future generations to enjoy) as well as the other fundraisers that AMC holds will have a direct benefit for rebuilding this park and others.

Please support the children of Auburn by supporting the Auburn Moms' Club and together we can help make this a safe and fun environment for our children to play. Auburn is a small town with a big heart and if we all contribute just a little bit, together we WILL make a BIG difference!!   WE CAN DO IT !!
